Maintained and improved software for satellite communications monitoring. Worked on a simulation component for training.  Used C#, Oracle, SQL Server.

Live Training InstrumentationNovember 2012 – May 2014

Designed and implemented imbedded software for system worn by individuals for wireless monitoring.  System is currently used in live combat training simulation.  Used UML, C, Java, MySQL, SQLite.

Battle Management Tools for Electronic WelfareNovember 2012 – Early 2013

Developed a program as an IRAD project that integrated government provided tools into command and control communications application.  Used C#.

BML. (Battle Management Language, a proposed standard for C4I to Simulation communications).  Developed GUI to be viewer and editor of BML database using Java and JDBC.  Designed and implemented database schema using SQL, and MySQL.

Interactive Service ManualOctober 2003 – March 2006

Developed web-based “Interactive Service Manual” for all systems on an aircraft such as J-Stars and V-22.  Developed presentation layer products using Java Server Pages, Java, JavaScript.  Developed content access using JDBC, SQL, and Oracle.

Command Training SimulatorMarch 1996 - September 2003

Worked on a large distributed constructive simulation for war fighter command training. Designed and developed the HLA gateway for all command and control clients.  Used object oriented design, Java, HLA, and RMI.  Responsible for requirements analysis, design, development, and test of software products.  Provided mentor-ship to team in object-oriented design, Java, HLA, and other software development.   Developed core Java classes for GUIs for simulation users, including aerial view of military units, overlays & maps. Developed GUI Storyboards in Java. Used world coordinate system experience to encapsulate many coordinate conversions into one coordinate class. Developed Java side of wrappers for C++ interfaces to simulation.  Worked on design phase of simulated terrain, weather, and line-of-sight analysis tools.
